I can’t quite believe I’m saying this, but we managed to go another month without it GTA VI trailer. However, the game’s release date seems increasingly certain.
The reveal date came and went, of course, and Rockstar revealed nothing. However, an industry insider with a notable track record (they leaked the GTA Trilogy remake) claims to have heard about a release date from multiple developers.
Here’s everything we know GTA VI so far!
“Several developers expect the release date in 2025,” they write. “A spring release is what is expected. But Rockstar was aiming for a spring release for both GTA V & RDR 2 in the past, that was ultimately postponed to a fall release.”
The insider predicts that further GTA VI will likely be announced this year, likely as part of Rockstar’s 25th anniversary sometime between late November and early December. Take that with a grain of salt, of course, because we were all thinking exactly the same thing in October.
Mid to late 2025 seems increasingly likely GTA VI on this point. Here’s hoping that when they finally reveal the game, a release date will be listed right away so we can put an end to the speculation and start the countdown properly.
