Three car engines, worth a combined $160,000, have been stolen in a ram attack on a business in Melbourne’s far west.
Just before 5am on Thursday, three men drove three separate cars to a car repair shop on Barretta Rd in Ravenhall.
One of the vehicles, a stolen Nissan Navara, was used to plow through the shop’s metal hatch door, after which the three men rushed into the premises.
While inside, two of the men found three car engines loaded into the back of a white Volkswagen Jetta and another unknown black vehicle.
CCTV footage shows the men wheeling two of the motorbikes out from the back of the store, under the stuck door.
The men fled in the two fully loaded cars, leaving the stolen Nissan behind.
Police would like to get in touch with a number of men who they believe can assist with their investigation.
The men were last seen wearing black clothing and one of the men was wearing a black “Squid Games” mask.
Anyone with information or CCTV footage is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
