Two people dead after station wagon crashes on QLD highway

Two people have been killed after a crash on a highway in far north Queensland.
Police say around 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, a station wagon was traveling north on Mulligan Hwy near Lakeland when it left the road near the Boggy Creek Bridge.
Then it rolled several times.

The driver and a passenger both died at the scene.
A third person, a man, was flown to Cairns in a critical condition.
Three other passengers were taken to Cooktown Hospital with minor injuries.
Investigations are underway.
